“Overall, I’m satisfied with the work carried out — the mechanic was professional and the job itself was completed properly.

However, I’m disappointed with the parts that were used. The brake pads fitted were a budget option, and I was not given a choice or informed beforehand. For my vehicle (a van), braking performance is extremely important, and I would have been more than willing to pay extra for higher-quality, premium brake pads.

In the future, I would strongly prefer to be consulted on parts selection, especially for safety-critical components like brakes.”
