All our users get started with an online, industry standard, fixed price quote, which you can receive instantly. Once you're happy with the quote you'll be able to book in with one of 1000s of vetted mobile mechanics and garages. ClickMechanic operates nationwide across the UK, covering all major cities and towns, as well as most rural areas. You'll be able to select either for a mobile mechanic to come out to you or for a garage to collect the vehicle to undertake the work in their workshop.

How It Works

1. Get a fair, fixed-price quote

Enter your vehicle reg and postcode of where your vehicle will be. Then select the work that needs doing – at ClickMechanic you can book car repairs, servicing & MOT, diagnostics, tyre fitting as well as pre-purchase inspections.

2. Book a date, time & location

Choose a date, time and a location that suits you. We instantly alert vetted independent mechanics in your area. We'll offer your booking to mobile mechanics & garages who provide collection & delivery. All bookings are managed through the ClickMechanic platform.

3. Work is done while you relax

Your mechanic arrives, confirms the work booked, and gets started. Mobile mechanics will carry out the work at your home or workplace, for garage bookings we offer free collection and delivery, as long as the vehicle is drivable. Just hand over the keys and carry on with your day.

Whether it's on your driveway or at a workshop, all partner mechanics are fully vetted, insured, and mechanically qualified.

4. Full payment is taken only after the work is done

Choose to pay by card and your mechanic will only charge your card after the work is complete. It's just like a hotel reservation – we will reserve the booking amount on your card the day before the booking so we can ensure the mechanic gets paid.

All mechanics agree to provide a 12-month or 12,000-mile parts and labour warranty (see terms). You'll receive a detailed invoice by email, and you'll have the opportunity to rate your mechanic.

Flexible ways to pay

You can opt to pay securely by card, you will only be billed once the work has been completed. We also offer Klarna, so you can spread the cost of your repair into simple instalments if you prefer. If you choose Klarna, your first payment is usually taken at the time of booking, with the remaining payments scheduled by Klarna.
