Rash was fab. He made contact to re arrange the timing of the job to suit us both. If anything, he could have told me he had taken the car to the garage as I wasnt aware this would be happening. That said, my car was brought back on time a few hours later with the job done..... Smooth service.

Marcel was terrible and I wouldn’t recommend him or his services to anyone, my car went in for a timing chain replacement the car was taken at 8am and handled back to me for 7pm there was little communication about the job I received the car as was informed I had to pay an additional £85 for a rear main seal this wasn’t in the original quote given to me so having to pay by click mechanic so was a bit shocked but went with it as theses things happen. I shook is hand expecting things to be done and all good for me then to discover my wheel arch was tapped up. There was no communication on what had happened or why it was in this state for me to ask the next day and be told it was missing clips so he tried to fix it that’s fair enough could of at least said something to me? But then the next day after I accepted my car was the real shock and disbelief I looked under my car for me to notice a huge oil leak so I jacked the car up took the under tray off and the whole under tray was covered in oil to the point the foam lining on my tray needed to be ripped off as it had absorbed so much oil. I cleaned it up with brake cleaner reattached the tray to see what the situation was in an hour or two. Yet again huge pile so filed a report as was asked to bring my car back to marcels garage (45mins) away for us to both stare at the area that we can visibly see oil dripping nonstop out of. I was told to leave the car as I wasn’t going to risk any damage. I made it clear to Marcel that I had no other car and a taxi would cost a lot over an issue that was never there to start with when he took the car from me. I was told to order a taxi and he would pay it when I pick the car up once the seal arrives so thought ok that’s fair. Comes to today I come straight after my holiday and the morning I land given I have my family to take home so I’m not paying for yet more taxis due to a broken car to the have to have a big argument with Marcel in the middle of the road about loss of money and added stress a specially as we had a holiday that week so to put it in to perspective I’m £80 down on taxis to get to the garage and to the airport for my holiday due to not having my car and £180 down of airport parking as I should have had a car and yet the issue that caused all this drama was an oil leak in my gearbox which I know full well has to be removed to get to the timing chain. I was basically told it’s no one’s fault and he was taking a loss on a part that probably equals the same amount that I had to spend on taxis alone thanks to this issue. I was just made to feel like it was no build deal and stop causing headaches I think was his words!!! I would have like to see who would of had to pay for the headache of a broken and brand new gear box thanks to most the oil being on the floor if I hadn’t of checked a specially as Marcel made a big drama over taxi fares for a job that never existed till Marcel touched my car? But I was just told the whole time it’s no one’s fault. My headache that was caused was no car for my holiday and lack of care, trust and compassion by a mechanic that’s meant to have such good ratings. I am constantly on edge about driving my own car thanks to the poor workmanship of this person. It has made me lose faith in this website given the “headache” that was caused. But it’s no big deal apparently I mean if you don’t double check your cars and the work that had been done then I would of been thousands out of pocket on a new gear box. So I advise anyone booking on site and with this mechanic to change your mechanic or go somewhere trustworthy as I was giving my car to get a major issue fixed then get handed back my car with another unexpected major issue. So uncaring and from Marcel’s attitude towards me he clearly didn’t do professional or good checks given how much oil was dripping out and how much oil was on my under tray. Guess he wouldn’t be the one paying for a new gearbox if I just played ignorant to the issue. Honestly guys double check your cars or skip this mechanic. Good luck

Mechanic replaced the part but the car still has the same problem. It was not resolved. Also, I was charged twice. The 1st time was on 12/05/2025 as the mechanics say they knocked on the door and no response. They charged me again but said I would be reimbursed. I don’t know when this will happen.

Marius was brilliant, he arrived slightly earlier so it meant I was back in the road sooner than anticipated . Excellent service, explained everything that he had done and worked extremely cleanly. He was very knowledgable and suggested a couple of things to do to ensure the van runs in top condition. Will definitely use again and can't recommend him enough .
