Our mechanic was good his English was not perfect but with patience we understood each other. We had to phone him at 10.40 as he hadn't been to collect the car but he soon arrived. He updated us on the need for a separate repair later in the day and the car was returned after we had gone to bed. We spoke again the next morning and we're very satisfied with his work.

Simon was fantastic - Completed the pre-purchase inspection a day earlier than planned and even contacted the seller on his own accord. He completed the work and called me immediately after explaining his findings and thoughts on the vehicle. You could see that Simon is very knowledgeable. He took lots of photos and was very thorough.

Charlie was very friendly and knowledgeable throughout. Everything was clearly explained, with no pressure, and I felt well informed about the condition of the car and any advisories. The work was carried out efficiently and professionally. I’d be happy to use them again and would definitely recommend.

Poor and disappointing service – lack of transparency and rushed approach I had a very poor experience with ClickMechanic and would not recommend them for servicing or MOT. I booked with the understanding that there would be some level of basic vehicle inspection before the MOT, especially for obvious items like brake condition. Instead, the mechanic went straight into the MOT without any preliminary checks, and unsurprisingly, several basic issues (like brake disc and pad wear) were highlighted during the MOT itself. These are things that should have been easily spotted beforehand. After the MOT, I was contacted with a repair quote that lacked transparency. There was no clear breakdown of labour vs parts, and more importantly, no mention of the brand or quality of brake components being used. When you’re being asked to approve a significant repair cost, this lack of detail feels unprofessional and concerning. The overall communication was also disappointing. The tone felt rushed and transactional, not customer-focused. I did not feel guided or reassured — instead, it felt like pressure to quickly approve repairs without fully understanding what I was paying for. While the work may eventually get done, the process lacks clarity, transparency, and basic customer care. Given the cost involved, I expected far better communication and a more thorough approach. Overall, this experience has reduced my trust in ClickMechanic. I would advise others to be cautious, ask very specific questions upfront, or consider alternative providers for servicing and MOTs.

Ryan was superb. He’s clearly an expert as already had a spot in idea of what the problem was even from my description. He took the time to go through what I had already checked and then confirmed the problem. We got a very fair quote for the repair, which we were more than happy to book. He arrived exactly when he said he would, as always is a pleasure to talk to, and fixed the car in exactly the time and way he said he would. 100% would recommend.
