“Absolutely fantastic, our mechanic was very professional, kept me informed, was knowledgeable and had my best interests in mind.
I was looking at purchasing a car from a dealership in Birmingham, but as this was a long journey & would take a whole day to travel there & back, I wanted a way to get the car independently checked before making the journey. I came across the pre-purchase inspection available via “Click Mechanic” on Google, I was going to use the AA as they’re a well known brand, however with the high number of positive reviews & the near 35% saving, I thought I’d give them a go. Needless to say, I was not dissatisfied.
I got a call from the mechanic, Imran, the day before to confirm a few details and to answer any questions I had. We then set up a chat on WhatsApp to make it easier to communicate, send photos and reports.
On the day of the appointment, Imran was due to start between 10-12. By 10:18, I had an update from him to tell me that from the short amount of time he had been there, he could already tell the car was in a bad state of repair and sent through photos and a video of the mould, water coming into the car, bits falling off (both inside and outside) including the rear tailgate switch, and this was before he’d even opened the bonnet. He advised it’s probably best to stop now as he can also hear a very squeaky fan belt & (given what he has seen already) would not pay £500 for the car, let alone the near £2k asking price. I agreed and thanked him for his honesty, but the honesty didn’t stop there as he also discounted the final bill to account for the shorter inspection time.
This saved me both time and money that would have otherwise been wasted travelling to Birmingham to view a Lemon, and I could not be more glad I chose to give “Click Mechanic” a go, and thankful for Imran’s professionalism and impartial help and advice. Will definitely be using again in future.”

“Andrei was brilliant and super helpful. Andrei did turn up 30 minutes late than the time frame offered but he did communicate well prior to the arrival about the delay. Work was not completed on the day due to some parts were not matching to my car, but Andrei turned up next day to work place and did the work properly at our office car park.
