“Andrei was efficient and tackled the job with ease from the start. Once he made his assessment, he handled the job professionally despite one or two problems which were also tackled with no issues. I was kept informed of uni foreseen problems and extra repairs that only developed once the work was underway. Andrei informed me of the work and how he was going to handle it and informed me of the extra cost. A very pleasant experience whilst coping with expensive repair bill. 10/10 for Andrei in every respect . Some minus points for Cluck Mechanic admin for taking the cost from the bank too soon before completion and confirmation by the Mechanic. This resulted in my frustration and the Mechanic having to effect a refund as you overcharged me.
The system is not straight forward with regard to any additional work
that may be found. I should have been able to have it added on to current work and not have to book it on the system for a different date while the Mechanic was there doing the extra work. The auto chat facility was useless and frustrating. This resulted in being charged call out for another date while the work was actually being completed on the same appointment. Automated systems do not possess common sense. This is perhaps some food for thought for your business acumen and customer satisfaction for the future. The Mechanic has enough on his plate without having to deal with you Admin inadequacy.”

What car services does ClickMechanic offer?

We offer three different types of services for Daimlers: interim service, full service and major service. Mechanics in our network have performed 3 interim services, 2 full services and 3 major services on cars like yours.

What is the difference between the different types of service?

The main difference between the car services offered for Daimlers is the number of checks performed on the vehicle.

The most lightweight car service for Daimlers is the interim service. The check includes 50 points which the mechanic will investigate.

The next level is the full car service, which is a series of more comprehensive tests. Our Daimler full service is a 70-point maintenance check on the inside and outside of your car. It additionally includes fluid checks (brakes, steering, battery transfer box and transmission) and top ups, i.e. for screen wash and antifreeze as well as oil changes.

The most comprehensive car service you can book for your Daimler is the Major Car Service. It is also the most intense series of service checks, during which your car will undergo all the checks of the full car service plus replacing your pollen filter and spark plugs. We recommend having a major car service performed on your Daimler at least every two years, however many vehicles will need a full service more frequently.

Please make sure to check your car owner’s manual for recommended service schedules for your Daimler.

What happens during a car service and how long does it take?

We work with mobile mechanics who come to you, there is no need to drop your car off at a garage to have your Daimler serviced. Depending on the type of car service booked (interim, full or major service) the mechanic will spend up to 2 hours inspecting your vehicle and replacing filters and fluids (subject to service type booked).
