They said that the fault message does not come up anymore and he said he did not know if the repair will work in the cold.

Hi Neil, I appreciate the review. Just to clarify a few things. I fitted the new glow plug control unit/relay that you had requested to get change and that you had diagnosed. I spoke with your wife at the end and explained that I had cleared all the codes and that there were no more codes showing for that specific fault. I did say that usually the fault does come straight back if it's an electrical fault. With the engine cold the glow plugs will activate but once warm they usually don't always activate.
