“Charlie was polite, pleasant and helpful.
Thankfully he spotted the defective pulley belt as it was ready to break. It is hard to understand why the previous CM mechanic didn't replace it when he removed it to replace the timing belt. It is clear from state of the belt today that it needed replacing then. This would have saved me a great deal of money. Not happy about that.”

“I heard about click mechanic from a friend and he said it was the best way to get an mot and a service done and was just what i needed. So i contacted them and they put me in contact with paul a mechanic that did work for them. the mechanics they use are checked out and have years of experience. I spoke to paul and had a chat with him and he came to my flat took the car to his workshop done a service and had a check round the car and took it in for the mot and it passed without any problems. Paul phoned me up and said the car passed the mot and it's parked in your parking space outside the flat. So i went outside to get the keys back and thanked him because to have someone like paul to take all the stress out of doing all that for me is a god send. but the moral of this story is i am77 and i have had cars since i was 22 and know alot about cars but for people that don't know about cars i can't recommend click mechanic and paul highly enough because to have some one like paul take your car for an mot to the same garage each time the chances of you getting ripped off is nil because they know he is not going to take the car there to fail so if i have any problems with my car paul is the first person i shall be asking for because i am always looking for the best of the best and thats what you get with click mechnic and paul.”

The car was picked up within the alloted time frame, thankfully it passed its MOT before having the service completed.
The garage didn't try to get me to commit to any extra work, I have a few advisories to get sorted and considering how fair the quoted prices are I will be contacting the garage in a month or so to carry out the work .
The young lad who collected and dropped back my car was extremely polite and professional and honestly a real credit to the garage.
James kept in contact throughout the work being carried out and was very helpful.

What car services do Clickmechanic offer?

We offer three different types of service in West Sussex: interim service, full service and major service.

What is the difference between the different types of service?

The main difference between the car services offered in West Sussex is the number of checks performed.

The Interim Service is a lighter variation of a Full Car Service. When booking an Interim Service in West Sussex, your car undergoes many of the checks carried out during a Full Service. As mentioned this is a lighter version, and therefore does not include much of the more detailed inspections like checks on the auxiliary drive belt, battery level and air filter checks.

Our Full Car Service is a series of comprehensive tests on both the inside and outside of the car. It includes fluid checks as well as oil changes. The West Sussex mechanic performing the full service will also run an extensive investigation of what is going on under the bonnet.

If you book our Major Car Service in West Sussex, your car will undergo all the checks of the Full Car Service, and in addition the mechanic will replace your pollen filter and spark plugs (if a petrol engine). We recommend a Major Car Service at least every two years, however many vehicles will need a full service more frequently.

What happens during a car service?

If you have a car service in West Sussex booked via the ClickMechanic platform, a vetted mechanic servicing West Sussex will inspect the car.
