“I was given a 2 hour appointment window between 12-2. Didn't get any live updates on the day for a precise time, mechanic arrived within schedule at 1.20pm to change the crankshaft pulley on my X3 in 35C degrees heat on my front drive. No messing about - mechanic took out the broken part, got out a brand new boxed part, fitted it and reattached the pulley belt all in 20 minutes. I took it for a spin round the block before he left - car drives normally again (fingers crossed). Never had my car fixed this fast before. Amazing. Mechanic was honest, said it was a common problem nothing to worry about and didn't try to invent new problems or sell me anything; I think he was too busy to hang around because he quickly got on his phone for his next job.”
