“Jamie was excellent. We are buying a van to move some personal goods across Europe, so we need to know that the van will take us there. On the surface the Iveco he was looking at for us seemed perfect, however on closer inspection Jamie found a large number of major faults which lead us to decide against this van.

Throughout Jamie was excellent. He phoned when he first accepted the job and again to keep us in the loop with the visit. We were also able to text him to clarify some pieces of information. I highly recommend Jamie.”

“Azhar was brilliant! I am extremely pleased with the service he provided. I had booked Azhar to do a Pre-purchase inspection on a van I was looking to buy. I found his inspection extremely thorough (finding issues that the seller was excessively trying to hide). His report was very well detailed & he also called me to go through the report to make sure he covered everything. I was extremely surprised when he sent me 62 photos/videos! 62!! The seller had even offered to pay Azhar to lie about the report and say the van was worth buying. Thankfully he didn’t accept the money and made an honest report. Frustratingly the van was not as advertised and I decided to walk away from the purchase, had I not received this service from Azhad I would’ve probably ended up purchasing a problem riddled van and a expensive money trap. I will definitely be using Azhar again!”

I plan to buy a used Iveco - do I need a pre-purchase inspection?

A pre-purchase inspection done by an experienced mechanic on the Iveco you are considering buying spares you the headache and saves the time of checking the vehicle over yourself. The mechanics on our network know what signs to lookout for, potentially helping you avoid future large repair bills.

We have a comprehensive checklist that the mechanic goes through, and they will provide you with a detailed email report and a follow-up call describing the state of the vehicle (if applicable).

What happens during a pre-purchase inspection on Iveco?

If you book a pre-purchase inspection with ClickMechanic, a vetted mechanic who carries out inspections on Iveco will inspect the car you intend to purchase. Depending on the level of inspection booked (basic, standard or premium), the mechanic will spend up to 3 hours assessing the condition of the vehicle.

When inspecting a used Iveco, mechanics check the interior, lights, fluid levels, brakes and suspension, chassis and car underside (subject to service level booked). All our inspection checklists include a road test to examine the condition of important safety features such as the steering and braking, and give a clear idea whether the vehicle is roadworthy.

I have booked a used Iveco inspection - do I have to be present?

No, there is no need for you to be present during the inspection. Our pre-purchase inspection service is popular with customers wanting to have a professional assessment of a used car they are purchasing e.g. while they are abroad.

You will receive a report about the condition of the car after the inspection is complete and if you wish you will be able to discuss with the mechanic over the phone afterwards (depending on level of service booked).

Does the Iveco pre-purchase inspection come with a warranty?

Our pre-purchase inspections of used Iveco vehicles do not come with a warranty. The main purpose of inspecting a used Iveco before the sale is to give you an honest and true reflection of the state of the vehicle at the time of inspection.

Can I book a follow up appointment for my Iveco?

Following your used Iveco car inspection, if you decided to purchase the Iveco we recommend having it serviced by one of the mechanics on our network. That way you can ensure you are off to a good start and your car is ready for your future journeys together.
