“Pre-purchase inspection by Lee from Lancashire Car Care. In this case, Lee saved me from buying an absolute lemon of a second hand car for which I'm very grateful.

Punctual and quick to reply. Phoned me as soon as he had finished the inspection. Uploaded the photos and report evidencing the check had been completed promptly. Can't fault Lee anywhere based on my experience. I was sceptical before we spoke about a mechanic I'd never met, but this changed my mind.

The best thing is, Lee was impartial and discussed my potential purchase with me, giving me honest advice. Can't out a price in impartiality. This ultimately
saved me a 200 mile journey for a car I thought ticked all my boxes, but which would have been a poor purchase. He even took the time to chat to me about second hand buying and cars he'd found to be reliable in his experience as a mechanic. Very helpful.

I plan to buy a used Lexus - do I need a pre-purchase inspection?

What happens during a pre-purchase inspection on Lexus?

If you book a pre-purchase inspection with ClickMechanic, a vetted mechanic who carries out inspections on Lexus will inspect the car you intend to purchase. Depending on the level of inspection booked (basic, standard or premium), the mechanic will spend up to 3 hours assessing the condition of the vehicle.

No, there is no need for you to be present during the inspection. Our pre-purchase inspection service is popular with customers wanting to have a professional assessment of a used car they are purchasing e.g. while they are abroad.

You will receive a report about the condition of the car after the inspection is complete and if you wish you will be able to discuss with the mechanic over the phone afterwards (depending on level of service booked).

Does the Lexus pre-purchase inspection come with a warranty?

Our pre-purchase inspections of used Lexus vehicles do not come with a warranty. The main purpose of inspecting a used Lexus before the sale is to give you an honest and true reflection of the state of the vehicle at the time of inspection.

Can I book a follow up appointment for my Lexus?

Following your used Lexus car inspection, if you decided to purchase the Lexus we recommend having it serviced by one of the mechanics on our network. That way you can ensure you are off to a good start and your car is ready for your future journeys together.
