Kept in contact by tel/text to ask if he could have it powerwashed underneath so that it would enable the mechanic to see where the oil leak under engine was
He quoted me £50 for the wash.
Then later I spoke with the mechanic, he told me he would need to drop the axle to change the engine sump and it will cost £750 minimum? I hope this is true and classed as a good price? To cure the heavy engine oil leak which I have previously been told was a gasket between the gearbox and crankshaft?”
