MINI Mini Premium Pre-purchase Inspection

First of all he was late for the appointment by 25 min. He checked a few things and explained a few to me which I appreciate. However, there were a few things that the dealer himself was saying went wrong while he brushed it off saying its very minor. He kept saying many times that the car was in excellent condition which did not help my negotiations. Yes, the car was fine but the way he portrayed it felt like a brand new car but its still 6 year old car. Would not recommend to anyone. The report he gave said everything was in brand new condition but there are many items that are not so pristine as he described.

With regards to our arrival time, we appreciate your comments. We did communicate with you on the day to advise that we were running slightly behind schedule due to traffic during a rush hour appointment window, and we also notified you when we were delayed by temporary road works just around the corner from the dealership. Our appointments are booked within an estimated arrival window rather than a guaranteed time slot, as traffic and travel conditions can occasionally affect our schedule.
Our vehicle inspections are designed to provide customers with a clear, transparent, and unbiased assessment of a vehicle's overall condition at the time of inspection. Our mission has always been to help customers make informed purchasing decisions by identifying significant defects, safety concerns, and notable issues, rather than to find reasons to reduce the purchase price of a vehicle.
When we describe a vehicle as being in "excellent condition," this is always in the context of its age, mileage, service history, and overall presentation. It does not mean that the vehicle is in "brand new" condition, particularly when assessing a six-year-old used vehicle.
Our reports are completed using a standardised inspection process and reflect our professional opinion on the day of inspection. Minor cosmetic imperfections and age-related wear are considered as part of a used vehicle assessment and may not materially affect the overall condition grading of the vehicle.
We appreciate your comments regarding how the findings were communicated during the inspection. Purchasing a vehicle is a significant investment, and we will continue to refine our service to ensure customers fully understand how our inspection criteria and condition ratings are applied.

Andy called me immediately after the inspection and went through all the points inspected and his findings. He also had taken extra care over the areas where I had asked for detail inspection. The report was very comprehensive. More importantly, there were 50+ photos and where there were minor issues, these were covered with photos and detailed descriptions to pass on to the dealer. He had already pointed these out to the dealer while onsite so they knoew what was expected to be remedied. All around very happy with the service provided. Great piece of mind for what is an expensive purcahse.

Reece was brilliant and very friendly, I was there for the inspection and he walked me through all of the areas he was inspecting and why very clearly. He gave me tips for any future problems the van could have and what to look out for. He was very thorough and transparent, notified me of any issues he came across as he came across them. All in all a very high quality inspection and I am very pleased with the result.

Reece was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and picked up on defects and issues I would have never noticed. He clearly has a deep knowledge of cars and was extremely thorough in his assessments. He had great communication before and after the assessment with a great in-depth document of the vehicle. I would highly rate Reece for any pre car inspection.
