“My mechanic was punctual and got on with the job. We had a brief chat about the work carried out and other things and he was a friendly guy. The only issue that was raised was when he finished he took it for a test drive and the abs light was staying on! There was no issue with it before so he checked a few things to see what was wrong and then He found out on he's computer that the sensor had blown so I asked if this was to do with the work carried out and he said he has never had a problem with it before. There was a bit of an awkward silence and then he said if I buy the sensor he would fit it for free so that's what happened. Whether it was just a bit of bad luck or something else I don't know because I'm not a mechanic. So I've ended up paying another £34 on the sensor.”
