“I would highly recommend Saf and the clickmechanic service.

Although I was purchasing a car from a main dealer, I wanted some independent advice on the car.
Saf attended for me the day after I placed the request (I requested him specifically on the back of his reviews). I am very pleased with the service from Saf and his follow up call was prompt and ran me through a couple of (very) minor issues. Given how minor they were gave me confidence in how thorough he was. He generally said the car was in good condition which the follow up report, although relatively basic in its form, confirmed.

From what I can tell, you can get a thorough clickmechanic report for around £122, whereas the equivalent AA report is nearly double.“

“The mechanic was good. He was friendly enough. Could have been a little more friendlier, and could have explained things alittle better, as to what things he was checking and what he was generally doing to ensure that he filled in the report properly.
Not all of us are mechanics and know much about cars, and we sometimes need a little assurance that the car we are purchasing is a good one for the price. A little re assurance would have been ideal in my opinion.
I was happy with thr test drive and the generall assessment he did. He did not look uner the car, but just generally looked around. He could have made more of an effort to look around the car alot more.
Overall I was happy with his assessment, I just feel he could have done more to make myself feel at ease with the purchase i was making“
