“I am afraid the engine management light has come back on after the replacement egr valve. I have informed Kudakwashe just now. But it seems to me that the ECU needs to be cleared and shut down and rebooted to clear the fault out of the system, and that is the only way the engine management light can be fully cleared. I would suggest this may have be done by an auto electrician who has the necessary equipment to fully shut down the system and reboot.
Obviously this needs to be asap has I cannot drive the van in case it delvelopes another fault in the engine and this light will mask and fault and will not show up has I have another fault. So what are you going to do about this please? This seems to be the only way I can contact you to get the issue resolved. Please let me know, look forward to your urgent response. MR .J.Ireland”

“Shaun arrived right on time, he called me beforehand to make sure I was available and ready for his arrival. I handed him the keys to my car and I said I'd "just leave him to it." After about 15 mins I decided to go out and have a chat with Shaun about the repair, he was so polite and gave me so much information, he was incredibly knowledgeable I know this because I did my research beforehand 😅. Confirmed with my own eyes, Shaun provided a fully boxed new part (ECG valve). After Shaun did the initial repair, he also made some safety checks on my car because he became aware of some emissions coming from the engine and exhaust. He gave me a lot of safety advice as after seeing my children's car seats in the back, he wanted to make sure that I fully understood that I keep an eye on any smells. He checked my breaks, filled up my coolant and would have put in an engine cleaner (if my tank wasn't nearly empty😅).

I honestly think Shaun was wonderful, I will be booking him for all my future repairs.
