Mercedes-Benz C-Class AdBlue system reset

I booked and paid £92.26 specifically for an AdBlue system reset, but unfortunately the reset was not successfully completed. The mechanic also confirmed this in his messages.
After the appointment, my car was still showing “Engine start not possible”, so the issue I booked the service for remained unresolved.
I understand diagnostic checks were carried out and a possible SCR/AdBlue control module fault was identified. However, I am disappointed that I was still charged the full £92.26 when the AdBlue reset I booked was not completed.
I am now left with the same problem and will need to pay someone else to repair the vehicle.
Based on my experience, I would not use this service again.

Thank you for your feedback. I do feel some important context is missing from this review.
The vehicle was booked for a straightforward AdBlue system reset. Had the vehicle been capable of accepting that reset, this would have been a relatively short and simple procedure.
However, the reset could not be completed because the vehicle's SCR/AdBlue control unit was not communicating. Rather than simply stopping at that point, I spent considerably longer on the vehicle than the original reset would have required, carrying out a much more involved and labour-intensive diagnostic investigation to establish why the reset was being rejected.
This included removing and accessing the rear fuse/relay area, testing multiple electrical supplies and components with a multimeter, checking live SCR/NOx data, verifying power supplies and attempting direct communication with the SCR control module.
The module had a strong power supply present but remained completely non-responsive to diagnostic communication, with the diagnostic equipment reporting “No control unit detected.” These findings strongly indicate an underlying SCR/AdBlue control module fault, which is the reason the vehicle will not currently accept the reset.
Therefore, although the original warning remains because the underlying component fault requires repair, the customer actually received substantially more diagnostic time and labour than would have been involved in the £92.26 reset that was originally booked, and no additional charge was made for that extended diagnostic work.
