Very friendly, but when you get a quote for £510, you don't expect to pay £100 more.

Hi Graham, clickmechanic quoted you for the job but unfortunately, as I explained on the phone, they sometimes miss bits out. For me to do the job correctly and following the manufactures recommendations, some other parts/procedures are required. I recommended an engine flush as with the nature of these wet belt engines to clean the engine internals of belt fibers as much as possible to try and eliminate future issues and the water pump belt is required to be replaced as the old one needs to be cut off. I will contact click mechanic and advise any future wet cambelt jobs regarding this engine, that these additional items need to be included. I apologise that this wasn't the case for you, all I can suggest is that if you contact click direct and raise your issue with them. Read more
