BMW 2 Series Coil spring replacement - front (both)

Person who was changing my coil spring was late and looks frustrated I called him.Dont want give guarantee saying I should change shocks absorbers.Car was doing strange noise and when I took car to bmw service they said my coil spring they fitted incorrectly

Thank you for getting in touch regarding the issue with your coil spring.
At the time the work was carried out, our mechanic advised that the shock absorbers were also worn and required replacement. You were informed that proceeding with replacing only the coil springs, without renewing the shock absorbers, could lead to premature wear and would void any warranty on the springs. We understand that you chose to proceed with the spring replacement only due to budget constraints.
As previously explained, worn shock absorbers can place additional stress on new coil springs, which may result in accelerated deterioration.
Unfortunately, this falls outside the conditions of our warranty, which were clearly communicated at the time of repair.
In addition, we were not given the opportunity to inspect or rectify the issue before the vehicle was taken to a third party. As per our terms and conditions, any warranty is void if repairs or inspections are carried out by another party without first allowing us the chance to assess the concern.
We also note that you have referenced an inspection by BMW; however, we have not yet received a full report detailing their findings.
We appreciate your frustration, however the job was carried out over 3 months ago and everything was clearly explained to you at the time of the booking, which you agreed and were happy on the day of the repair.
