“I didn't meet my mechanic as this was a pre purchase inspection. However the seller confirmed he turned up on time. He emailed me the report promptly and put in a call after the inspection. The car was given the all clear so I drove the 2.5 hour journey to look myself. It was a lovely car and in general I am happy. My only concern is that when I took it for a test drive there was an obvious clunking noise underneath whenever you went over a bump or speed bump. There were loads of these as soon as you left the sellers property so I am surprised this wasn't mentioned in the report. I did buy the car and the noise is getting worse so I hope its nothing serious or expensive.”

I plan to buy a used Chrysler - do I need a pre-purchase inspection?

A pre-purchase inspection done by an experienced mechanic on the Chrysler you are considering buying spares you the headache and saves the time of checking the vehicle over yourself. What happens during a pre-purchase inspection on Chrysler?

If you book a pre-purchase inspection with ClickMechanic, a vetted mechanic who carries out inspections on Chrysler will inspect the car you intend to purchase. Depending on the level of inspection booked (basic, standard or premium), the mechanic will spend up to 3 hours assessing the condition of the vehicle.

No, there is no need for you to be present during the inspection. Our pre-purchase inspection service is popular with customers wanting to have a professional assessment of a used car they are purchasing e.g. while they are abroad.

You will receive a report about the condition of the car after the inspection is complete and if you wish you will be able to discuss with the mechanic over the phone afterwards (depending on level of service booked).

Does the Chrysler pre-purchase inspection come with a warranty?

Our pre-purchase inspections of used Chrysler vehicles do not come with a warranty. The main purpose of inspecting a used Chrysler before the sale is to give you an honest and true reflection of the state of the vehicle at the time of inspection.

Can I book a follow up appointment for my Chrysler?
