I would definitely use ClickMechanic again. I was concerned that money would be taken when I booked, & I then wouldn’t get an appointment that suited me, but not only was no money taken until the job, but I also received said appointment within 15 minutes, for two days’ time. Do be aware there is an extra £20 fee for getting an appointment within a couple of days of booking. The slightly hidden nature of this fee is my only issue with CM - this was nothing to do with Mike though. Other than that, I found the whole booking experience to be extremely user-friendly.
I have been ripped off buying a vehicle in the past, but this check meant I could buy with confidence, and know what minor work I need to get done at a garage.
I booked the full indirection and felt the CM fee is extremely reasonable for what one gets. In fact, I was able to go back to the buyer & explain that these issues now meant I had to get work done on the van, & the buyer offered to reduce the price of the vehicle by £450 to cover the work. So this more than double covered the CM fee.
