“I booked a professional mechanic as changing the starter motor on my car was a rubbish and difficult job apparently.

However, Robert was never unfazed. He stripped obsteucting parts, and moved hoses, and did this and that till he got the job done.

He replaced hose clips and cleaned up as he rebuilt the car. He double checked everything.

Then waited for what seemed like ages after starting the car just to make sure nothing was leaking or faulty. And this was after being here over an hour longer than expected.

Doing the job right seemed much more important than doing the job quick.

In this modern day of needing a laptop to fix most cars, it was great to have a proper mechanic do the job.

I would always choose Robert now if I could.”

“I was well impressed by Mathew's knowledge of my vehicle and his honesty and candor in dealing with the diagnosis of the fault. He had even sourced specific parts prior to arrival and was able to provide the identical replacement battery on the spot and install it within the time allocated for the diagnostics, it at no additional labour costs.
It's very refreshing to find a mechanic who brings you solutions, which are targeted and economical; rather than one who 'talks up' the problems, before stiffing you with additional charges.
He's a credit to his profession !!

“I was very impressed with Elliot - I was a bit worry about the prognoses of my car beforehand but on speaking to Elliot I felt more confident. I just left him too it and he just got on with the job. He found the problem and fixed it - first class and a big worry off my shoulders - A welcome surprise with the cost as well which was cheaper in doing a diagnostic - finding the problem and fixing it. All in all it was cheaper than the quote I got from Evans Halshaw and Vertu Hyundai at Sighthill Edinburgh in just doing a diagnostic never mind the repair costs - will definitely use ClickMechanic again if needed.”
