He came , plugged in a diagnostic machine and stated that it was more work than initially requested. And charged £180 for attendance.

Good afternoon I appreciate the review,
The only charge I have control over is my mileage charge the rest is based off your local garage average price.
The work requested was not the correct fault for the vehicle so click mechanic advised to change the booking to a diagnostic inspection and create a follow on quote for yourself which as far as I’m aware has been sent through.
As discussed with the staff member at the job site I wasn’t being liable for replacing the clutch as the job stated and the original fault still being there. I did try and contact your previous to today to discuss this job and make sure it was the correct work needed to no answer.
