“I am afraid the engine management light has come back on after the replacement egr valve. I have informed Kudakwashe just now. But it seems to me that the ECU needs to be cleared and shut down and rebooted to clear the fault out of the system, and that is the only way the engine management light can be fully cleared. I would suggest this may have be done by an auto electrician who has the necessary equipment to fully shut down the system and reboot.
Obviously this needs to be asap has I cannot drive the van in case it delvelopes another fault in the engine and this light will mask and fault and will not show up has I have another fault. So what are you going to do about this please? This seems to be the only way I can contact you to get the issue resolved. Please let me know, look forward to your urgent response. MR .J.Ireland”
