“The mechanic seemed knowledgeable, but the job wasn't properly costed by yourselves so I had an additional cost of oil for the gearbox of about £42. Also the pick-up I was told by yourselves there may be just a small charge, but the mechanic wanted £60 - I managed to negotiate it down to £30. However the total bill was therefore about £70 more than initially quoted, which was disappointing. Plus I was told the car would be bought back to my drive to be worked on but was taken to a garage whereupon I was told I had to pick it up from there (8 miles away) upon completion, which was very difficult to sort out as I don't have any other transport. In the end the car was bought back on the Friday when the work was finished - your email says the work was done on Wednesday which is incorrect.”
