My experience with the two gentleman that turned up couldn't have been better. They arrived within the time window allocated and got to work quickly to diagnose the problem. In no time they had discovered a defective/worn auxiliary belt which lead them to discover that the water pump was vibrating which was responsible for the rattling noise! They explained that the bearing on the pump was worn and probably not long from breaking down altogether which would lead to the belt coming off which could cause damage to other parts under the bonnet as well as an overheating problem. They advised that it would be prudent to replace the belt tensioner with the water pump whilst doing the job as a preventative measure as that had probably been on the car the same length of time and mileage as the pump. They advised that they could come out and do that job. I asked them for a quote and they said that one of them would input the details into Click Mechanic in the van on their way back to their depot. No sooner said than done and a reasonable quote came through shortly after they left. I was so impressed with their knowledge and friendly attitude that I've booked the job in for next week!

Very pleasant chap, bit disappointed he didn't seem to have ANY tools in order to access the ODB port in my car, diagnosis was correct and I had it fixed elsewhere. Was 2 hours later than booked.

Arrived before the actual time arranged got on with the work straight away high.l

Very pleased with the service and the process. Was promised a visit between 8-10am but didn’t arrive by then. I sent a message and was advised he would arrive at 1130 and also received a call from the garage saying he would be there in 30 minutes. The mechanic then arrived as promised 30 minutes later.

Mechanic found the issue very fast but did not look to repair? I feel I over estimated the initial requested work that should have allowed around two hours of labour on the car to look at resolving the issue.
