I really appreciated their patience in answering all my questions - their knowledge about cars was impressive and reassuring. The oil and filter change was completed quickly and professionally, right there on my driveway. My car is running perfectly, and I'm so pleased with the quality of the work. It's such a relief to have a reliable mechanic who offers this kind of convenient service. The price was also very fair. Excellent. Frans was booked to replace the cam belt, plus auxiliary belts and water pump. He arrived a little ahead of the booked time, and did the job quickly and efficiently, so far as I can tell. He was friendly, and apparently knowledgeable about the car. And it was a convenience to have him come to me, rather than my having to deliver the car to a garage and then return home by bus. The nature of this particular job, replacement of still-functioning parts on the basis of age and mileage alone, is that I have to take the work on trust; but I don't anticipate any problems. He was both cheaper and more convenient than Halfords; and he charged less than half the quote from the main dealer (who are an hour's drive away). In principle I will be very happy to book with him again for future work.
