I think it was only a temporary fix to the steering but more work was needed so I still can't drive the car. I should just have put it in the garage. The £100 was expensive under the circumstances and a waste of money. The system might be ok for a service but not when you need to diagnose the problem and then order parts and then make a second visit which you have to pay for.

My Mechanic Mihai was fantastic, turned up at my place of work and manged to resolve a last minute oil and filter change immediately. He carried on with the work whilst I returned to work. Great service, would definitely use again.
