Alin was polite friendly and punctual. My problem is not with him but with your automated system which first showed there being no problem with the car (I had paid for a diagnostic) and later took payment for changing the water pump. I did not mean this to reflect on Alin.

After a morning of stress trying to find someone who didn't treat my repair like a huge inconvenience, booking Jermaine was a massive relief. He was the definition of professional: called with an ETA, arrived on time, and was incredibly easy to talk to. He managed the perfect balance of being down-to-earth and friendly (chatting nicely with my dad and neighbour) while being focused enough to just get on with the work so I could leave him to it without hovering. He took the time to investigate the issue properly rather than rushing a fix, did thorough checks to ensure it was actually gone, and explained everything clearly afterwards so I knew exactly what was what. He left the car and area spotless, too. If you want a mechanic who takes pride in their work and actually makes your day easier rather than harder, I can’t recommend him enough. Absolute top marks.

Arrived for the booked time, gave confidence explaining his experience. He asked for nothing though I checked on progress a few times. Explanation of the challenges but nothing was a problem. Work completed as expected and as advised I took the car straight out for a test drive and battery charge and everything worked fine. A lovely surprise to resolve an issue that could have been really stressful.
