All parts of this process were easy and stress-free. My car was collected within the allotted time and taken to the garage, then delivered back again a few hours later with everything sorted. There was great communication and the mechanic was happy to take the time to explain anything I was unsure about. I was sent photos and videos showing various stages of the process so I could see exactly what was going on with the car. Overall, I am very pleased and would use this service again.

An Honest Review I decided to try Click Mechanic as I felt that a quote from my local garage for Front Shocks replacement was a little high. I have to say I won’t be using the service again. I was assigned ‘Joe Mobile Mechanic’. A quick Google search offered mixed reviews (Some quite bad). I gambled to continue. Joe Mobile Mechanic did not arrive within the promised time window, 10am to Noon, but did arrive eventually. He took my car and left in it’s place his own car. I heard nothing until around 1600 when he called. I am partially deaf, and that, combined with his foreign accent, made a conversation extremely difficult. He told me that my car required addition work that would cost a further £550. I told him I didn’t want this extra work done and opted for just the work I had asked for originally. I was surprised the work was yet to be started and he told me I wouldn’t get my car back until the following day. My car was returned to me the next day. I’m not a mechanic but I don’t know for sure that the work was done. I have no receipt or invoice for parts i.e. the Shock Absorbers. The shocks on a Fiat 500 are hidden well and hard to see. Also, the front scuttle that runs along the underside of the Windscreen is now loose with the clips, fasteners and windscreen covers broken. I believe this would have been removed in part to access the tops of the Shocks. Now I realise that the scuttle is most probably as old as the car itself, made of plastic, and most likely brittle from 11 years of weather exposure, and I’m also aware that the clips are single use and break easily (Not complaining, just saying). I just can't with absolute certainty say that I haven't been scammed, although in all farenes I'm 60% sure I haven't been. It's just a nagging doubt that's left a bad taste in my mouth, which will stop me trying this again.

Jason completed a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle and identified a few minor issues not visible in the photographs. As I am remote from the vehicle, this was great. He explained the potential issues clearly and provided the report promptly to allow me to continue discussions with the garage.

Great lad, gave me some good advice and ultimately solved my problem. This was a quick turnaround, took my car and returned in within the hour. I booked a AirCon regass and now my AirCon is 10/10.

The guy who came to collect my car was very polite. Unfortunately my experience with the mechanic himself was not so great. I booked a service and MOT and he very clearly told me my car had failed it's MOT on THREE things. When I challenged him and said I would get a second opinion, he said I misunderstood and it turns out it only failed on one thing. The work was then done. Very disappointing. Would not use again.
