I was happy with the mechanic at first but after work was completed Jack said that it hasn't fixed the problem as it wasn't a faulty alternator it's a sensor, so why didn't he do a diagnostic 1st.
Then once mechanic had left I went to move car off the drive so I could plug in my other car which is an EV and I was unable to move the car because the power steering was now not working so I'm confused and not happy

Hi Jason. You didn’t ask me to diagnose your vehicle. If you would have liked a diagnosis, you should have informed me and I would have carried one out. Furthermore I was informed this had already taken place at another garage. It is not for me to undertake work that you haven’t actually asked for.

As per your request I replaced your alternator for you. Upon testing after completion, it was clear the fault was still active so I took the time (free of charge) to diagnose the fault for you.

As far as I’m concerned this review should read 5*, the job you asked of me has been completed perfectly, and I find it wholly unreasonable to be tainted due to another garages misdiagnosis.
