Absolute......legend! Shane was genuinely exceptional in every possible way, from the very first contact right through to the completed repair. My van broke down unexpectedly and, as it is also my home, the situation had me feeling extremely anxious, cold, and overwhelmed. What truly stood out was that Shane got in contact the evening before the job, not because he had to, but simply to reassure me, talk me through what would happen the next day, and put my mind at ease. That single act of kindness meant I actually slept properly for the first time since breaking down. That in itself says everything about the kind of person he is. On the day of the repair, he arrived much earlier than expected, which was an absolute godsend in itself — but even more incredible was that I had completely slept through his call that morning. Despite that, he still came anyway without issue, without complaint, and straight into full professional mode. That level of reliability and consideration is truly rare. When he arrived, his calm, thoughtful, and genuinely kind manner instantly reduced my anxiety. He carefully explained exactly what had gone wrong, why it happened, what signs to watch for in future, and how to avoid it happening again — all in a way that was clear, respectful, and never rushed. His knowledge was obvious, but so was his humanity. The repair itself was carried out quickly, efficiently, and to an extremely high standard. No fuss, no corners cut — just solid, honest, skilled work done properly. Watching someone quietly and confidently fix something that feels overwhelming is incredibly powerful, and Shane did exactly that. On top of being an excellent mechanic, Shane is just one of those naturally thoughtful, extremely nice people you instantly feel safe with. I genuinely can’t praise him highly enough. This is without question one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a mechanic. I would use Shane again without hesitation and would wholeheartedly recommend him to absolutely anyone. A true credit to ClickMechanic and to the trade as a whole.
