BUYER BEWARE - IF SOMETHING SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE THEN IT USUALLY IS - Replacement brakes and pads needed as the warning light came on and my garage couldn't fit me in for a few weeks - I had a number of trips coming up and needed to have them replaced and was attracted by Click Mechanics advertising - I managed to find a mechanic who could come 2 days later and was initially over the moon - On reflection maybe his immediate availability was too good to be true?! - I had the work done and clearly it was... - The final price higher than quoted and the mechanic claimed he hardly made any money from the job - And the replacement discs and pads failed after 6 months - When I asked the mechanic about the warranty by text he swerved the question and suggested it might by down to the age of the car and that it could be down to other problems - There was no mention of the 12 month warranty or offer to inspect the vehicle (I have a copy of the text message if anyone would like to see it) - I subsequently discovered that Click Mechanic offer a 12 months warranty - And that OEM parts must be used by the mechanic - When the mechanic went silent I escalated the issue with Click Mechanic and they told me it was the mechanics responsibility to resolve matters - When I asked for proof of OEM parts being used, as it's odd that OEM parts would fail after 6 months (my previous 2 sets lasted over 4 years per set) the mechanic couldn't provide an electronic receipt - Weirdly Click Mechanic were okay with this and said it was my responsibility to read the T&C's and suggested to the mechanic that he should make customers aware in the future - So I am now £410 down and have wasted many hours trying to resolve this shocking state of affairs - Clearly if it seems too good to be true then it usually is SO MAKE SURE YOU READ THE SMALL PRINT AND IGNORE THE 12 MONTH WARRANTY AS IT APPEARS TO BE NO MORE THAN A MARKETING GIMMICK - OR SOME MIGHT SAY A SCAM

Anhar was friendly, polite and introduced himself on arrival. He provided confirmation he was the person I was expecting to take my car for its MOT and major service. My car was returned within the expected time frame along with some pictures, etc, to prove certain elements of the work had been undertaken. On driving my car today, I could tell it had been serviced. My car was a smoother drive.......not that I'm an expert in this field, but I can say I am very happy with the service I received. I will definitely use this company, and Anhar, again. Thank you
