Michal arrived within 10 minutes of the time I'd booked which was ok as I knew it was about a two hour job to replace the ten years old alternator on my Volvo XC60 automatic. He'd brought a new one with him of a good brand.....Lucas....ready to fit. As the work was done on my front drive I wasn't surprised to hear it's more difficult for the mechanic to do such a job single handed and without an elevating ramp. He'd brought a meaty pump action heavy jack with him so that enabled him to drop the old unit out from underneath the engine. It took 2.5 hours to finish the job and the car then started sweetly without hesitation for the first time for about a year.....yay. Michal advised me to take it for a good run for about 15 mins to get the battery recharged ready to start the next day. Overall I was very satisfied and the bill, including about £350 for the parts was fair enough. I'm already planning to get Michal to do a few other jobs on the car now!

Mohammad was great.. prompt and detailed, called after with a brief then followed up with a very good 8 page inspection report, highlighting anything that needed attention or repair. Gave me the confidence to buy the car without looking at it..!! I wouldn’t have been that detailed had I gone myself.. wouldn’t buy a car now without getting click Mechanic in first.
