Happy that the mechanic was able to fit the aux drive belt finally, but he did struggle initially and at a certain point he asked me for help with the fittings. I do get that it is difficult to fit the belt without removing wheel assembly and any additional hand may help, but honestly I couldn’t help him much as well. Finally he had to get under the car to fit it. Overall good job done and within time.

The work requested to be done as per Booking ref 8830492 was carried out as specified. Since this work was done the starter motor is malfunctioning and there is a noise which sounds like the Bendix is jamming. I have asked the mechanic whether the noise (which i have sent to him) is related to the work previously completed. Unfortunately the only response I have had from him is a sarcastic 'Hullo' or ' how are you' clearly this will not assist me with my problem and it appears that he has something to hide.

Brilliant service! Wish I’d found it before! The car was collected on time(actually early) and received a phone call very quickly advising a couple of extra things that needed doing. A very reasonable quote was given and I was happy to give the go ahead.

Carl was very patient (with a non technical person like me), reassuring and informative. He completed the diagnosis and prescribed a repair. The only reason for not having him do the repair is likely to be date availability., otherwise I would be very happy to have him complete the work.

Much rather spek person to person so visited garage and very friendly when arrived, told me car would need to be collected and asked if could pick up day before work was due to be done so they could start on the car first thing, (was a charge) however nothing is free and despite this once the work was completed they did drop the car back with no charge first thing before garage opened, so gess these guys did go the extra length. Very happy

Unfortunately I have downgraded my initial 5 star review. This is as a result of a formal complaint I have lodged with ClickMechanic, due to a dispute regarding the resolution of a workmanship issue, resulting from the full service of my car. This dispute has proven to be a major inconvenience to my family, particularly as we depend on having our family car available for work, personal and fostering needs. Unfortunately we have unable to use our car since 23/10/21, which has inconvenienced our childcare, business and personal travel arrangements. ClickMechanic's response to my formal complaint has been lethargic, and unhelpful since liaising with their office (twice by telephone and separately through their online portal). ClickMechanic seem more interested in following their process, as opposed to providing an urgent solution, based on the facts of my situation which have been communicated to them. To ensure others do not experience the customer service experience myself and my family and foster children have, please check how ClickMechanic's warranty works in the event of an issue or complaint arising; to ensure you can make an informed - transparent decision apart from being influenced to buy their services purely based on their pricing model.

Didn`t see the mechanic personally but he kept in touch by phone - couldn`t solve the issue but gave good advice as to next steps
