This is the first time I have used SMS Motor Engineers. Jon was very friendly and respectful. Car was picked up and returned to my home by two friendly drivers, a full service was carried out. No major defects were highlighted as a result of the service which I expected as the car is in good condition and has a low mileage. So overall a hassle free experience.

The diagnosis was incorrect, the issue the mechanic gave was repaired but did not alter the problem.

Callum was great, arrived in good time and carried out all work diligently.

One of the best knowledgeable mechanics I have met, very polite very helpful, found additional minor fault ( that I sorted before he could fix the original fault ) now fixed and very happy.

They were delayed in getting too me and fitting new starter motor but explained that anyway the communication was great had a bit of bother with the wrong part but went and got the right one and solved the problem cant fault them.

Not happy with any of it,firstly they were late picking the car up then they couldn't do the work on the rear pads because they didn't have the required equipment to carry out the work,had the car all day yesterday and all day today just to carry out an mot,then was told car would be back for 6pm didn't arrive back until 7pm so was late coming back.

Jamie and his assistant did a great job. Fast and thorough and an informative explanation from the health check. Would definitely recommend and I will be using him again.
