Had the car for MOT AND Service , at one point the mecanic called and said the car failed the MOT due to cv boot and disc breaks and won’t pass if not changed. I agreed to have them changed , after I have checked the MOT fail reason and found out the disc breaks was not necessary to be replaced it was just a minor and advisory and not major issue as the mecanic told me. He lied just to make some extra money, be careful as his not honest. I paid the jobs done but it happy that he lied.

There is always two sides to a story. The car came for alternator replacement we done the job, we informed mr Charles that he needed to replace the battery as well but he was adamant not to spend money on new battery. On sat he agreed to pick up car at 1 pm. We closes 4pm and he turns 4:15 pm. The car battery won’t hold charge so what we were suppose to do for him while all the suppliers are closed. I took battery out from my car and put it in his car ,as he needed the car for sunday.
So in our opinion the dramatic review does not reflect what happened here.

No work was carried out because we cancelled at the last moment. Our fault but the necgphanic arrived 15 minutes late which he later denied. Meanwhile the full amount had been taken from my account without any work being carried out. I agree that I must pay £40 for a late cancellation although I did ask for it to be waived in view of the lateness of the mechanic. I am waiting for the money to be returned to me.

So we did not work on her car but we got 1 star review on the quality of work. This is hilarious and top it up we cannot remove the review unless customer requests it. But she is not the customer???? Because no one work on her car, hitting my head against a brick wall.
Because she got charged cancellation fee so our quality of work was not good.

Communication was excellent, they were punctual and having my car collected and delivered within my time frame was a real pleasure.
Although I gave quality 5*, I cannot comment on the work carried out. I very much hope it was good, but my car did not have any issues, it just needed a service. Whilst the report and invoice shows what they carried out, I have no idea if it was, and have no way of telling.

They plugged in an iPad and said “see it’s your timing belt”!

Nice guy though, waiting to hear what it would cost to repair, is it worth repairing ?

Why when the timing belt go, did it let all the water out of the engine and how come after it stopped
The first time was I able to start it and limp 3/4 mile back to the flat?

He didn’t answer those questions? Too early to say whether I would recommend anything as my car is not fixed!

The guy who collected my car was very unhelpful.I had asked him couple of questions but he just ignored me, not friendly at all.
They didn't stamp my service log book, I had to drive to him to get my book stamped.The communications was very poor.

First thing f all the driver does not have mechanical knowledge so you should redirect all your questions through this plate form. Secondly you left your book at home and want us to come out to you next day to stamp your book. Also the job was straight forward service and mot but I suppose there are no pleasing some people.
