The work booked directly with clickmechanic I have no issues with - however the mechanic that worked on my car quoted an extra £240 work which needed to be carried out immediately otherwise brakes would fall apart. I was told on the phone that they would be replacing the parts, but 'repaired' them and put this on the invoice with the added charge of £240. Be very careful if agreeing to extra 'required' work, that they actually do what you agree to. Dispute gets you nowhere as they simply say refer to invoice, not taking into account what was agreed.

The issue was a simple battery issue. The mechanic was friendly and knew the issue immediately. Once started I drove to Halfords and got a replacement battery there and then … problem solved.

Friendly team. Kept me up to date on their progress on repairs throughout the day. Very helpfully explained the issues identified during my MOT inspection. Very clear and transparent about repair options and costs. Completed work and returned my car promptly.
