A thorough and friendly service, which got my car back on the road quickly, and at a reasonable price (likely a better price than a garage would charge).

The mechanic was punctual and friendly. He spoke very little English but had an assistant who was able to interpret for him. Before starting work he tested the battery with and without the engine running and said it was definitely a starter motor problem. After replacing the starter motor there was no improvement on the problem. He told me it was a problem with the battery. He said I needed a 70Ah battery. Checking online all the batteries for my car are 60 or 65Ah. The battery I have in the car is 65Ah and about 9 months old. After he left I got an email offering additional work from him fitting a new battery.

Akhtar was really great - got the job done and clearly knows what he is doing. Very friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use him again. He tidied everything up and the car is back on the road. The price charged was also really fair - which is unusual!

Akhtar was fantastic - punctual, polite, quickly found out what the problem was and even managed to fix it on the same day. Also let me know about another problem with the car I did not know about and where I could go to get that fixed.
