Akhtar is brilliant! I took my Mini to a Group 1 garage last year to investigate the knocking sound. After £600 and two days they couldn’t diagnose it without wanting to strip the engine. They told me the engine would likely have to be replaced at £6000! Almost a year later the serpentine belt snaps on the motorway and causes my car to overheat. Akhtar came out to me the next morning to look over the car and within minutes he knew exactly what needed to be replaced. 2 days of him working non-stop and staying late for me to get home from work, my car has a new lease of life! Akhtar is a very hard worker and does his best to help you out with reasonable fees. If I had the amount of work done at a Mini garage, it would have cost me at least double. Read more

What really stood out was his dedication and kindness—he didn’t just fix the immediate issue, he took the time to explain everything clearly, checked over other parts of the car to make sure I’d be safe driving, and didn’t leave until he was confident everything was sorted.

Akhtar was wonderful. As I mentioned previously that I had a diagnostic done before and the gentleman could not find the problem as it was not showing up on his diagnostic computer. Akhtar thoroughly checked everything but nothing was mechanically wrong, so problem could only be electrical, from past experience he felt that it could only be a sensor and he was right, he bought a new sensor, fitted it and problem was solved. Back on the road again thanks to Akhtar.
