I recently booked an advanced Pre Inspection Report on a car that I was considering purchasing from a private seller. Dill, the mechanic, carried out the report the following morning so it was great to not keep the seller of the vehicle waiting and risk losing out on the car. Dill called me during and after the inspection and sent multiple relevant images. The car wasn’t quite as tidy as it had seemed in the advert and I felt that Dill gave me a more realistic appraisal of the cars condition, any work that could be expected in the future and any immediate mechanical points that I needed to be aware of. This meant that I could assess whether or not to go ahead with going to view the car (3 hours away) and what I would be willing to pay for it. I ended up buying the car at a price that reflected its condition and any work required. Dill’s assessment, communication and willingness to investigate areas of the car that were particular to my needs played a large part in having confidence in the buying process. Thank you Dill! I’ve bought two cars privately using clickmechanic.com for a PPR so I would recommend them.
