Shamas as turned out to be a complete scam and I’m utterly disappointed in click mechanics having expose me to such level of scam. Shamas had manage to convinced me that he needed to work on my car in his work shop after I paid ClickMechanic and the clutch pedal he claimed to repair still hasn’t been worked on. He had privately arranged for my car to be taken to his workshop and made me paid £40 promising I’m in good hands. He said the work was actually going to take a whole day if I don’t bring it down to the garage. He kept the car with him for a few days, told me to pay £550 for clutch pedal which I refused. Shamas apologies, said that price was a mistake, then asked me to pay £150 to change the clutch pedal, and at the last minute when my car was to get shipped back to me he came up with another issue that clutch cylinder is damaged too and now I should pay £550 instead of £150. At this stage I was desperate for my car cause I need it to get to and from work, I paid him £550. Also paid to shipped the car back , I noticed my fuel level has gone down. I also noticed the clutch pedal hasn’t been changed to a new one but he’s managed to fix the car. So I demanded to see the receipt for the clutch pedal and cylinder he claimed to get from Volkswagen StokeOnTrent and that is when he stopped picking my calls or responding in any way.

Inspection work - did a great review of the car and identified problems that weren't known before

I am completely disillusioned with Click Mechanic and will never use them again. Their system allows a mechanic to accept a job even if they are over 50 miles away. They claim the confirmation email states the location of the mechanic but it doesn’t or it didn’t in my case. I raised numerous cases and contacted the company direct but they were are closed without my knowledge and I have had to absorb £30 petrol on top of the price. Not only that the car was returned as filthy as I ve ever seen it. I raised numerous ‘complaints’ about this sending in photos but they claimed it was just normal filth from the road which it most definitely wasn’t. It must have been driven up a dirt track or something. Click Mechanic continually batted away any responsibility for a dissatisfied customer and simply closed my complaint without my knowledge. Totally unacceptable customer service and would would never recommend anyone using them as there is no come back for customer issues.

Luke couldn't have been better. Very knowledgable with his work and helped me understand more to do with my car. Carried out the work within a very reasonable time and was very friendly and nice to talk with. Would highly recommend.
