Friendly, sent over 50 images of the car I was planning on purchasing and alerted me to two very expensive issues and a couple of other bits. Came to an agreement with the garage and they’re fixing it for free before I purchase, but without this £120 inspection I would have bought a car with over £1.5k worth of problems.

I booked Alin in for a last-minute Premium inspection, which he carried out very quickly together with a colleague of his (so they were able to halve the time). They were done in less than half an hour, and yet the report was rather accurate and extremely helpful (I ended up buying the car trusting the report, as it was too far to go and see it for myself). Alin called me after the inspection to provide detailed explanation, and he made himself available again the next day when I called him for further clarifications, which he provided patiently without rushing.

Ivan was pleasant and punctual. Got on with the job with ease and would happily use him again.

Communicated to the person who collected the car that there was a couple of concerns I had about the MOT, they mentioned the car would go through MOT before any service so that I could verify if changes are needed. This was not done. I got a phone call about repair work needed, this wasn't something I could afford and so had to scrap the car. However, the full payment for service/mot was then charged. When asking for confirmation if this was true and carried out I was told "I'm the mechanic, I know what I'm doing". This isn't something I expected and do not have any knowledge argue otherwise. I requested the work to be quoted in the clickmechanic website but was told this work isn't available as an option. I then requested more updates about collecting personal belongings from car and also how to scrap it but was ignored, with follow-up call 1 week later from the MOT garage NOT the mechanic who organised through clickmechanic. I've used clickmechanic for a few years and can say this isn't the normal, but it has shattered any trust in the system as my car was in a location I had no control over and the support given was non-existent
