I believe he is ok as a professional mechanic. he is friendlily ok with that. but I am not pleased at all why? the Battery is flat it was not at all flat ... he agreed to do some extra work but not done as promised as it was not within the company obligation. I paid him 100 pounds for extra work that includes 2 belts . this is not straight forward business at all. I made a deal with his to do extra work includes engine Block cover lid for 170£ for a reason he did nor do it hover I received an offer from the company to do the same job for 275 £ ...

How can you trust someone whom turns up in a car and without the right tools to complete the work and I at to give my tool for the tensioner and help out.. and even afterwards the job was uncompleted I was still left with no car,and payment was taken out of my account before any work had be taken on??

Chris and his colleague arrived in good time, were keen to get started and seemed knowledgeable. They had arrived with the only message that my headlight was not working, I am a little confident in trying to fix an 'out' lightbulb myself and know where to go, which fixture to unscrew etc. and would not register with Clickmechanic for such a simple problem. However....my problem had more of a story, which seemingly had not been relayed to Chris. Unfortunately with little information to arrive with, the assumption of a bulb out perhaps influenced Chris's decision on how to solve my problem and I did feel for a time that I was seen as the 'female who knows nothing'... I am however one to assert myself and I did explain that there was more to my situation than just an 'out' bulb.. On further explanation, a diagnostics review was completed - this did find nothing to cause several outages in a short time of the same headlight, and I hope that the light bulb change will be the fix. Fingers crossed....

Needed a pre-purchase check on a car I wanted. Got an email from the mechanic, Kai, very quickly who was happy to do the job. He arrived on time, carried out the check, phoned to let me know the outcome of the check & sent me a few photos of what he found. This was followed up with the detailed report as promised. Confident in his assessment, I purchased the car - so far no problems with it, so happy with the car purchase. Should also point out that the job was a lot cheaper than the better known companies who carry out these types of inspections.
