My experience with Mike and Prime Vehicle Recovery was fantastic. My car was picked up around 10am and back just after 5pm. The job was for a cambelt replacement and all seems great. They also let me know about a potential issue with a rear wheel bearing but there was no pressure or anything to have them fix it - they were simply letting me know, which I appreciate.

Andrew was great. I work nights and he was very accommodating. No fuss turned up to the job and cracked on!! I had my timing belt done water pump and new pads all around.

Couldn’t fault Kristian and everything he did. We had to reschedule due to my car having a flat battery (don’t leave your dash cam plugged in)!! and he came back today (25/04) jumped my car and then had my car back within a couple of hours.

Has was friendly and professional- arrived early and listened patiently to my concerns. Checked the car over and completed the diagnostic. He explained the solutions clearly and left me with a quotation for the work required.

The work was done marvellous. They collect the car, replaced everything, and return the car back in 2 hours.

ClickMechanic has invited me to leave a review. The work was not completed to my satisfaction. My car had an issue with the brakes seizing. As per the booking process I gave dates and times I was available for a mechanic to visit. An appointment time of between 4-6 pm on Friday April 18 was booked. The mechanic did not turn up during this agreed appointment window. I was phoned afterwards and reluctantly agreed a new appointment the next morning. A mechanic arrived promptly the next morning. He worked for around 3 hours at the end of which I was told that the issue was repaired. The first journey I took after the assurance of a repair the car broke down after around 5 minutes due to the brakes seizing. It was exactly the same issue. In my opinion the work carried out and for which I was charged £271 was of no value given the issue was not fixed and I was in exactly the same position as before minus the money charged. I cannot give a positive review as I have not had an experience that would merit such a review. The mechanic will inevitably respond to this and argue that they gave a good service. The readers of this review can decide for themselves whether £271 for no repair represents good value or good work. ClickMechanic as an organisation have given no assistance to me at all in my opinion.

Fantastic service and work. Arrived at the schedule time. Explained the work to be carried out before going ahead. Completed front discs and pads change in 30 mins outside my property which saved a load of time with not having to go to a local garage.
