ClickMechanic has invited me to leave a review.
The work was not completed to my satisfaction. My car had an issue with the brakes seizing. As per the booking process I gave dates and times I was available for a mechanic to visit. An appointment time of between 4-6 pm on Friday April 18 was booked. The mechanic did not turn up during this agreed appointment window. I was phoned afterwards and reluctantly agreed a new appointment the next morning.
A mechanic arrived promptly the next morning. He worked for around 3 hours at the end of which I was told that the issue was repaired.
The first journey I took after the assurance of a repair the car broke down after around 5 minutes due to the brakes seizing.
It was exactly the same issue.
In my opinion the work carried out and for which I was charged £271 was of no value given the issue was not fixed and I was in exactly the same position as before minus the money charged.
I cannot give a positive review as I have not had an experience that would merit such a review.
The mechanic will inevitably respond to this and argue that they gave a good service.
The readers of this review can decide for themselves whether £271 for no repair represents good value or good work.
ClickMechanic as an organisation have given no assistance to me at all in my opinion.

Hi
Your review is very misleading , we have messages and proves explaining the problem in your car , your car wheels were completely seized so we worked for 3h to release the wheels and reset the rear brake shoes as first step , we done a test drive and all was good , then we explained to you if that happened again we will need to replace the rear brake shoes what's again the cheapest options as they only cost about £30 otherwise its down to the ABS system what's a main dealer job , but when the problem happened again you took the car to your local garage and they changed front brakes , discs , pads , calipers what you had no problem with and they were working fine at the time plus the rear brake shoes , they charge you about £1000 and the problem remains the same then they told you its down to the ABS system and its a main dealer job , i don't untrestand how you are happy with there steps what cost you £1000 without fixing your car and you are not happy with our steps what cost 271 including Clickmichanic commission what would gave you the same conclusion with just replacing rear brake shoes for £30 and no labour charge from us .
We believe every step we done its correct and normal procedure to the natural of the job
We wish you good luck with your car and i hope you have asked for your money back from your local garage as you did with us .
