Ed Holt was brilliant. Intelligent and very knowledgeable about the process and pitfalls of buying a used car. He is a superb diagnostic mechanic and is courteous, punctual, very pleasant to speak to, professional to a fault, and kept me up to date at every step of the process. He saved me from buying a good looking car which I had investigated (full history by Motorcheck - also recommended and inexpensive). Ed's report showed the car to be well dodgy - engine camshaft, inept respray, possible disguised repairs, loose exhaust, corrosion on drivetrain, multiple ECM faults and several faults deleted by previous owner, etc.). The report was very comprehensive and Ed added his own checks and observations free of charge. He saved me a fortune. I would recommend him unreservedly.

Mechanic was late.booked 10-12 but did not arrived till around half past 1pm.and only did the major service i booked for less than half hour.not sure if should be that quick.im happy that is done quickly but is that normal?

Enver is can’t find a problem at first. He’s computer wasn’t working too. He was running around, calling someone on the phone. Finally computer working and he was able to check the car. My experience: just waisted a time and money.

David was very pleasant and I felt confident in his ability. Unfortunately he was let down by the parts supplier making the job considerable longer , which was quite a worry as I needed the car for a hospital appointment the work done however and the car feels much better
