Please do not use this site or this mechanic My car was left unsafe and potentially damaged after the mechanic replaced a clutch. ClickMechanic decided to not get involved other than to facilitate the messages going backwards and forwards. Engine mounting bolts were left very loose and underneath of engine covered in clutch fluid

I didn't get to speak with the mechanic. The online fields weren't clear to me which phone number was needed so I put the dealer's phone number twice. However, I did pay for the phone call and he had the dealer's number who's obviously got my contact details so I would have expected the mechanic to make a bit of an effort to get my number and give me a call. The mechanic found 2 faults which was great, but just ticked good for everything else. The vehicle is just over a year old so I would have expected some to be excellent and maybe some to be fair.

From accepting job... keeping in touch... getting work done while explaining everything he was going to do and why was way beyond my expectations for a first time user of click mechanic..... the way he worked on a dark cold heavily raining night was exceptional.... i will guarantee 9 out of 10 others would have cancelled but not this guy.... work was carried out in almost the exact time that was predicted with booking and that took some doing let me tell you.... he must have been freezing cold and wet.... but did not stop. The car drive home was perfect ... motor running like a wee sweetie again....all in all... what a gent... what a service and i will be recommending him to anyone i know who ever asks if mobile mechanics are a good idea....
