ClickMechanic has invited me to leave a review. The work was not completed to my satisfaction. My car had an issue with the brakes seizing. As per the booking process I gave dates and times I was available for a mechanic to visit. An appointment time of between 4-6 pm on Friday April 18 was booked. The mechanic did not turn up during this agreed appointment window. I was phoned afterwards and reluctantly agreed a new appointment the next morning. A mechanic arrived promptly the next morning. He worked for around 3 hours at the end of which I was told that the issue was repaired. The first journey I took after the assurance of a repair the car broke down after around 5 minutes due to the brakes seizing. It was exactly the same issue. In my opinion the work carried out and for which I was charged £271 was of no value given the issue was not fixed and I was in exactly the same position as before minus the money charged. I cannot give a positive review as I have not had an experience that would merit such a review. The mechanic will inevitably respond to this and argue that they gave a good service. The readers of this review can decide for themselves whether £271 for no repair represents good value or good work. ClickMechanic as an organisation have given no assistance to me at all in my opinion.

Fantastic service and work. Arrived at the schedule time. Explained the work to be carried out before going ahead. Completed front discs and pads change in 30 mins outside my property which saved a load of time with not having to go to a local garage.

Kyriacos carried out replacement of the rocker cover gasket. Friendly approach, explained everything, expectations have been met.

Marcus was superb. Arrived on time, as promised, and carried out meticulous work in order to resolve the problem that we had with one of our fleet vehicles. His understanding of the vehicle (VW Amarok) was very impressive and his solution to the problem was borne out of knowledge and expertise. I would definitely recommend to others - no problem.

To summarise; many failed appointments which was inconvenient to me and my commitments. When finally rebooked it was cancelled again as unfortunately the mechanic tools were stolen - waiting all day for the tools to be replaced, thinking it was going to happen. The mechanic reassured me that any additional work needed that he will stop. He will call me and we can discuss. If I didn’t want to carry on he would put the car back together. Even at his risk/cost. This wasn’t the case - he advised of a part that was seized. He caught me off-guard and I didn’t get a chance to ask for videos/photos and knee-jerked agreed. I feel I have been text booked scammed ! It was agreed for the work to take place at home. On arrival, he sprung it on me that he will take my car away to do the works at home. It made me uncomfortable as it wasn’t what was discussed and agreed. Communication has been poor after; no real desire to get back to me promptly. Have raised with the mechanic and it has been noted the process and repair has not gone smoothly. I would have been better off going to a car garage and having the works there and then. In front of me. And if there was problem then I could have seen it with my own eyes. In the end, I’ve paid more with this mechanic and had the pleasure of additional stress and inconvenience.

El was amazing, he went above and beyond to source the required part and kept me updated throughout the whole process. He arrived and swiftly fitted the new regulator and was polite throughout. Strongly recommend.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Chris to anyone. Clear communication on services, costs and timings.
