Maz was very punctual. He even arrived slightly earlier than I booked. He took the car to a garage and carried out all the necessary tests, then we had a 5 minute phone call going over any problems that came up. Luckily, there weren't many, so it wasn't a long call. However, one issue was the report didn't mention that the electronics for the left-side wing mirror weren't working, or that the driver's side interior light doesn't work. Both problems that I've discovered today while driving that the report says are in working condition. I'm sure they're not big fixes but it would've been nice to be aware.

The guys turned up on time, had front discs and pads replaced, they had it done and on their way within an hour, will definitely use again.

Darren did an excellent job, on replacing my timing belt. He was very knowledgeable and found another problem I was worried about. Which now has been fixed too

Communication was ok and friendly, but the email confirmation said arrival between 12 and 2, which in reality seemed to refer to an initial telephone call which i got just before 2, giving me a later window of arrival for the mechanic. After the diagnostic I was advised it was likely an electrical issue and the car needed to be towed. Unfortunately my car couldnt be towed right away as it is an automatic. We tried briefly, including a boost with my own jumper cables to be able to push it. I didnt think it was a battery issue (mind, I know nothing about cars so that shouldnt be a determining factor), but was quite surprised a callout to a non-starting car was done without some form of jump start equipment by the company. However, the inability to tow my car turned out to be fortunate after all, as when the AA came out, they found it was actually an issue with the throttle valve and it could be sorted and the car started within 10 minutes, sparing me the need for a very expensive towing experience with a crane in a hard-to-access car park.
