Collected car 4 hours later than expected, then contacted me to say the repair would take longer than he originally thought as it was a difficult job. Agreed an extra day and was then asked to pay extra than the price agreed and had paid in advance. Car returned 2 days later than expected & an extra 100 quid. Repair done and working to good standard, very unimpressive & expensive experience with a lot of mither.

I'm very satisfied! This guys coming to my house in early morning to collect the vehicle, and replaced clouch kit and master cylinder..(09 Toyota yaris 1.0) Job has been completed on the same day also bring the car back before dark! Polite and friendly ....very professional mechanic! Highly recommended for everyone! God bless you guys!

The mechanic I "booked" was not the person who turned up. I asked for a diagnostic, explained the problem and allowed them access to the vehicle. 10 minutes later I got a text message saying "Fuel pressure regulator mate" along with some screenshots of the OBD fault codes I already had (I have my own OBD scanner). That's it, they were done. What could be the cause? What can we do about it? How do I go about getting parts or replacing things? How can I schedule that work with someone? How do you know it's the regulator? He couldn't answer any of these things. He had simply plugged into the car and read off the first fault code. He didn't inspect anything mechanically or do any checks. The problem turned out to simply be a clogged fuel filter. Nothing to do with the regulator. I understand you can't always know the direct cause from a diagnostic, but for the price I do feel it warranted some further technical inspection. Maybe even a look at the fuel filter, which would have revealed the actual problem. As far as the "mechanic" was concerned his job was done. He got back in his car and drove away. I didn't receive any follow up calls or next steps to actually resolve the issue. That's probably a good thing as it would probably have cost me a lot more replacing parts that were not necessary. As far as I'm concerned it was £85 entirely wasted. I didn't receive any information or service that helped to fix the actual issue.

Peter communicated the night before and we discussed the job and background to the problem so he had a fixed idea of what was required. Turned up next day on time, very friendly and got the problem sorted in less than an hour, and explained what he'd done and showed me the faulty part.
