I had an appointment to pick my car up from 9 till 11, the mechanic turned up at 13.30hrs. I didn’t get phone call saying he was going to be late until 12.00 (and that was only because I had raised a complaint to click mechanic). I then heard nothing from the mechanic until I phoned him at 12.00 the following day to find out when I would expect my car back, he said I would get it back at some point in the afternoon, I finally got my car back at 19.30. The work has been done and seems ok, but iv only done 30 miles since getting the car back

Definitely use this mechanic again, excellent service, very happy with the work carried out

So I booked my brakes (pads & disc) which was due on Sunday. David came with his mate on the day but unfortunately only one break pad and disc was changed. After questioning David he said my Caliper was seized and I need to pay an extra £200, considering my initial booking was £140 for both brake pads and discs. After pushing further, David then said it was stuck will changing and he needed to hit with a hammer to loosen Caliper. After blananyly refusing to pay an extra £200, David said he was taking Caliper to his mate to try unseize it only to tell me that my extra bill was £140. I booked this job through Click Mechanic and feel this is a tactic to get more money off me as this issue should have been discussed before receiving full payment for a partially completed job. I have also not had my car since Sunday which has incured further charges as I have had to source other means to get to work. I was only changing my breaks as a precaution as my MOT is due in December and my car was running ok. But I have now been left careless for 3 days, with no communication as to when my car will be sorted
